In order to have a safe place for dating, we focus on taking decisive action when any concerns are being reported as our users’ safety is the most important. We embrace and carefully consider all relevant information and facts when making decisions concerning reported matters. Our commitment to fairness and objectivity guides us to ensure that each situation is heard and understood, and we take the steps to resolve any issues.
Check our Biases
We recognise the need for our policies, tools, and rules to be adaptable and reflective of these changes. Therefore, one of our values is to review and update the initiatives, protocols, and policies to ensure what remains relevant and effective in fostering a safe and inclusive dating environment. The commitment to cultivate a community of authentic, courageous, and empathetic daters. We encourage the community that celebrates diversity and authentic selves. Our attention is on the impact of safety, security and overall integrity of our community.
Not Act as Arbiters of Truth
Our objective is to provide users with information about potential matches; they can connect with others who share similar interests and opinions. However, we are not here to make decisions on what is absolute truth or fiction. We take responsibility seriously in ensuring that our users do not endanger others through their interactions.
Listen
Users can rely on our team’s responsiveness and support when they reach out to us for assistance. Whether it’s a request for help, we value user feedback and want to hear from them. Our commitment is to be there for our users in every possible way, offering resources and support whenever needed.
Foster A Community Built on Trust and Respect
Our foremost obligation is to create a secure environment for the community, facilitating the discovery of meaningful relationships. Users place their trust by designing our tools and services with utmost respect for their privacy. We do not discuss the information that remains confidential, such as the existence, the status, the details of an account, with anyone.
We expect the Tune Community to:
Be Open to Others
We are creating a diverse and inclusive environment, where there might be some different opinions. We encourage Tune users to embrace and respect the opinion of others. We strongly discourage any form of antagonising or matching with others solely to provoke or challenge their beliefs – the behaviour contradicts our core values.
Understand Consent is Critical We prioritise clear and free communication of consent within Tune. Consent can be explicitly given and withdrawn by individuals at any time. We are committed to maintaining a safe and respectful environment, where any form of abuse, harm, harassment, hate, or discrimination – including sexual advances, comments, and imagery – is strictly prohibited.
Respect Boundaries
Tune users are not encouraged to initiate contact with others outside of the platform unless they are being invited. Seeing someone on Tune is not an invitation to interact with them through social media. Respecting the boundaries set within the app is crucial for creating a safe and respectful environment for all users.
Be Honest
Tune users are not required to provide a surname on the profile; however, it is essential to refrain from using false names or incorrect dates of birth, creating duplicate accounts, or registering if under 18. Deceiving others about age or misleading or outdated photos is against the principles and is unfair to the Tune community.
Put in Effort
Users are willing to invest effort in their dating life as they are genuinely committed to finding a great match. However, some users may feel apprehensive about presenting their authentic selves. We encourage users to be genuine and authentic in their profiles, as the more effort and intention they put into creating their profiles, the more rewarding their dating experience will be.
Seek Meaningful Relationship
We have established a platform for individuals to discover meaningful relationships, emphasising the importance of authenticity, transparency, and respect. We request our users to present themselves truthfully, communicate their intentions openly, and treat others with courtesy and consideration. We embrace the diversity of meaningful relationships, understanding that they can take various forms and involve different relationship styles, preferences, kinks and personal needs in a partner. We respect all the users, but not soliciting or behaving in criminal acts.
